This April, FfF launches a new initiative called FfF Interactive, which aims to use immersive technology to highlight the history of neighborhoods through local perspectives.
Through this initiative, FfF and Visual Communications, will unveil FfF Interactive Little Tokyo!, a spatial, interactive multi-media presentation that celebrates the diverse histories and viewpoints that make up the downtown Los Angeles community, Little Tokyo. Using virtual reality (VR) storytelling techniques and historic site-specific projection, this place-based exhibition aims to bring new interest on Little Tokyo’s rich legacy and histories often overlooked.
FfF Interactive Little Tokyo! will be on view on April 22nd - 23rd, 7-10pm at the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center (JACCC) Plaza in Little Tokyo as part of the 32nd Annual Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.
